Description
Single Origin Espresso Beans Blend
To start, we add single origin Guatemalan coffee beans to our espresso beans roasting mix. Guatemalan coffee is known for excellent growing conditions. With excellent conditions countrywide for coffee growing, competition is higher and the quality of the coffee benefits. Our Guatemalan single origin coffee beans all lean towards extraordinarily nuanced and complex profiles. This makes it a fantastic place to start for the H&L Coffee Co Single Origin Espresso Beans.
Guatemalan coffee exported to the U.S. is tasted and approved by ANACAFE. ANACAFE is the coffee association of Guatemala. For this reason, and the growing conditions that include strictly managed shade, Guatemala is known for great taste and amazing complexity.
The 2nd ingredient in the mix of our Single Origin Espresso Beans is the Honduras coffee beans. Long ago, Honduran beans were considered only for mixing. Now, with better agricultural practices, Honduras produces award-winning, high-quality coffees.
Coffee beans from Honduras have become more and more common in the U.S., but depending on your location can be a rare treat. Farm elevation determines the classification of coffee beans from Honduras. Caturra, Typica, and Bourbon variants are found in Honduras, classified as Strictly High Grown, High Grown, and Central Standard.
Brazil is the world’s largest coffee supplier. Brazil produces about twenty-five percent of the world’s coffee supply. Bourbon, Typica, Caturra, and Mundo Novo, Caturra, Typica, and Bourbon variants are all grown in Espirito Santos, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Bahia, and São Paulo.
As the third and final part of our Single Origin Espresso Beans Blend, pulped natural Brazilian coffee beans bring a slight chocolate and spice flavor. But the most significant quality they provide to the overall taste is nuttiness. In particular, the single origin Brazil coffee beans add a pronounced “peanut” flavor to the mix.
H&L Coffee Co. supports eco-friendly farming. We believe in every company’s role in the community. Our coffee is Sustainable. Direct Trade. UTZ Certified. Rain Forest Alliance Certified.
